I went to Isla del Encanto. Nice trip by boat (around 1h) and a pleasant beach. After traveling through the caribbean you realize that is not as beautiful as I expect. However water is very calm (hyst like a pool) and you can see some...More

OMG!!! Bath water warm and calm water!! Loved the outdoor massage and amazing food on the beach. The boat ride is a little choppy getting there but it worth it.

All the islas are privately owned by some foreigners and some nationals. The coral reefs are nice, but only if it your first time snorkling.Otherwise just ok. Avoid taking the small speed boats as they are not well maintained and although fun, i was not whether...More

Each experience is different, because I understand there are 23 islands. My trip was great as we had the entire island to ourt only. Upon arrival, you are given options to do outings which are 'add on' costs. I opted to chill on the beach...More

Gorgeous islands, water is very clear. You can rent a boat and go island hopping. Enjoy the sun, the dolphins and the food

The waters are crystal clear and the people live a simple happy life. Eating fresh caught lobster by the locals was incredible.

This review is more about Isla del Pirata but NOT about the hotel there, more about the experience of getting to these islands and what to avoid! Desperately wanting to do some snorkeling whilst in the Caribbean, I had read all the trip advisor info,...More

It was a great trip, and I would do it again BUT be aware of the following: - regardless of where you buy tickets, you'll have to pay $12,000COP per person at the dock in park entrance fees - if you choose to pay less...More

We booked the tour through our hostel for 45,000 COP. We'd read a few bad reviews but wanted to go anyway as the beach sounded nice. Playa Blanca beach was lovely, white sand and turquoise calm water. Unfortunately there were hundreds of people and lots...More

If you come to Cartagena for the beautiful unspoiled beaches, then you probably came for the wrong reason. The scene at the departure dock is chaotic with different tour groups yelling out names and street vendors trying to make last minute deals. We were told...More

Take your own equipment, as far as snorkeling gear if you'd like to do that, so you avoid the vendors renting the masks and all. Also cash is a must on the islands. Depending on the tour you're taking they may stop at the... More
