Photography Tours is a company specializing in Photography and audiovisual products for travel and leisure based in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. We focus on developing photographic and travel experiences with the purpose of promoting the new generation of Visual Ambassadors: travelers, capable of generating changes in the world through image and audiovisual language. The most memorable experience we had in Cartagena. Paola is an amazing person with a positive and spirited character. She knows how to handle every situation and gives patiently directions in order to achieve the best possible results with her camera. We've received her photos in no time and we were amazed for their quality. We don't have enough words to thank her for the magnificent photos, her valuable time, her talent and her dedication in promoting the history, the life and the people of beautiful Cartagena.

Came in on a cruise and had 1 day. Booked a photography tour with Paola. Had a great time in the mangrove swamps with their unique landscapes and wildlife. Paola was friendly, knowledgeable and a great communicator. Result was many great memorable photographs.

Paola is an excellent guide who combines knowledge of Cartagena with knowledge of photography. Our early morning adventure to the food market was outstanding. We saw so much. We had great photo opportunities. The people of the market truly knew Paola and therefore they allowed us to take more photos and interact with them. Later in the afternoon we met up in Getsemani and we again learned much about this unique area of the city while getting a chance to take photos of interesting sites. This is a unique experience. Well worth spending a day with Paola.

Amazing experience in Cartagena with Photography tours. Paolaand her team are very professional, friendly and passionate about her work and that feeling is very contagious. I made the workshop with my cellphone beacuse I dont have a DSLR and I loved it. I learned a lot about how to get the most out of my phone's camera and now I can take amazing takes anywhere.

I am a New Yorker who recently visited Cartagena for 7 days with a friend for vacation. We were looking for a fun, informative, culturally authentic, and full experience. I personally, was also looking for a photographer who could help me photodocument my first few solo traveler days before my friend's arrival, and to assist us remotely with planning activities in and around Cartagena for the rest of our trip.
After researching local photographers extensively on multiple social media and online platforms, I found Paola. Not only did she far exceed our expectations, but I am exceedingly proud and happy to say that she will remain a good friend into the future.
Even before our arrival in Colombia, Paola helped to plan and organize activities for our trip, including tours by private car to La Boquilla (canoeing the Mangroves at Sunset), Bazurto Market, Isla Baru and Playa Blanca, the Rosario Islands, and much more. She also gave us a list of fantastic recommendations for restaurants and nightlife.
For me, she customized and planned in advance for our formal "photo memories session", essentially two formal fashion-focused photo shoots in multiple locations. Photos from our sessions were promptly delivered within less than two weeks after our return to NYC.
Paola is an educated, insightful, and intuitive individual, a talented photographer, a consummate professional, and a true gem. She approaches her work with seriousness and sincerity. We are so thankful for her dedication, and she absolutely helped to shape our first trip to Cartagena in a meaningful and memorable way.
With respect to pricing, she is absolutely fair and based on our experience, which felt exclusive and well organized, it was worth every dollar.

This was an great experience with a local guide. Paola is so nice and knowledgeable both about the history of the city and about photography. She teaches you so much about how to take pictures and how to make the most out of your abilities. Paola also tells you about local events and things to experience in the city and takes you to some off the beaten path locations for photography

My friend and I visited Cartagena for the first time, and wanted to become familiar with the city and our cameras. Spending a morning with Paola was a great way to do this, as she helped us understand some of the manual functions of our camera, and patiently coached us through different assignments. She also walked us around and showed us Cartagena and taught us about its history as we took photographed. This was a very nice way to be introduced to the city.

As a keen photographer, this was a great way to see the city. i took a tour with Paola, it ended up just the 2 of us which was great as i had her to myself! We had a quick chat and run through what i wanted to get out of that day which for me was trying my new wide angle lens and just to work on street photography. We headed out to the market first, something I would not have done on my own. Paola knew all the spots to get great shots and I felt safe with her showing me around. It is a crazy hectic place with a maze of alleyways! In Getsemani, i was staying there so knew the streets well but Paola swapped lenses with me, so I had a chance to practice with her 85mm. It was so good to use this lens to see the difference and also for her to take me down some of the streets I hadn't seen. Whenever I stopped and asked to set up a picture, she helped me with the locals, so I could get the shot I wanted. After, we went through the photos I had taken and did a quick critique, not easy just in camera but since returning homeI have sent her a couple of pictures to look at and she has provided some useful feedback. I really enjoyed our time together and learnt a lot, not just about street photography but also just about the history of the city and local customs. Highly recommend!

I booked a tour with Paola and requested that we shoot in the Bazurto Market and Getsemani neighbourhood. She was willing to tailor the tour to my specific request and does a great job in trying to understand the type of photography you are seeking to do before the tour. The Bazurto market was a unique shooting experience and I would not have been able to experience it without Paola. I was able to capture many shots that I am very happy with. I will post some of the photos captured with my phone. Other images captured on my mirrorless camera I would love to post but I do not have access to a laptop cord at the moment. Paola thank you again for a great day of shooting! I learned alot about the history and culture of the places we visited and enjoyed the interactions with the locals.

I had two fantastic days out with Paola. She tailored the outings to my needs. She speaks great English and knows her city well. She is a great teacher and is passionate about helping you improve your photography. I was thrilled with the images I took of the people living in this beautiful city.

I am so glad i'm having such a lovely student and client like you, i knew what you wanted and didn't stop till having it. You gave me lessons , it was a mutual learning and an incredible shooting experience.
