What you have to know about Cafe Havana is that it is very touristy. You will pay high prices and have a poor level of service because of it. Having said that, the place is well decorated, they have really good musicians playing salsa all night and you will have a good party. If you are looking for a local salsa place, this isn't the place.

One big band follows another, it is crowded and the drinks probably overpriced, but its fun and lively and I'm glad we went. All tourists I'm sure, but who cares?

We were so looking forward to seeing live music and dancing but I was incredibly underwhelmed with, well, everything. There was a cover to get in even though we arrived two hours before the music started. The drinks took forever to order and weren’t very good. And the staff... why do you all hate your lives?! Man, they were just full of attitude. Once the music started we were basically ready to go if that tells you anything. I’m sorry to say that there’s another Cuban spot in the walled city that was ten times better and that’s where I would spend my time.

I was given an incorrect amount on the bill. I ended up signing by mistake and they refused to reverse the amount later..

A must stop. A bit touristy, but such a fun destination for an evening of drinks and live salsa! We loved spending a quick evening here. It's a bit on the crowded end but what club isn't? The band during our evening were so talented and we had a blast!
