The square is situated between the offices of the provincial government and the San Francisco Church. There is a charming statue of Friar Ivan Gonzalez.

Plaza San Francisco is a traditional place in the city center, good to go for a walk, try some street food, be aware of your belongings ...but to enjoy some time there as it is part of Cali's history and culture.

I had the opportunity to "hang out" here while Walter ran an errand. Parking was very abundant & the people watching was awesome. Next time, I think I'll bring some food for the pigeons . . . LOL

Located in front of the San Francisco Church, this big Plaza is a busy one. There are people in a hurry to go to their destinations, vendors, pigeons, etc. It's an excellent location to take pictures of the facade of St.Francis Church.

There are only a couple tiny trees so there isn't much shade. There are some vendors and pigeons to feed. We were there in early afternoon so it was really hot. Suggest stopping by earlier or later in the day.
