We came in on a Saturday afternoon, Hugo apologized for not having an English tour guide. But the boyfriend used to work with projectors so he was my personal guide. There is a vast amount of projectors, from the beginning when things were using carbon rods to Xeon lightbulbs. Also a vast amount of film from 35mm to 65 to... More

We didn't know exactly when they're open. One day they were closed around lunch time and the next day almost closing. So I think they close around 12. But anyhow the man was friendly enough to give us a tour through the museum. They have a lot of film projectors (most of it are nostalgic models). Original movie posters from... More

Caliwood was absolutely fantastic, the director Hugo was the most gregarious and welcoming person, as well as his assistant Carlos. The collection is vast and impressive, from the very beginnings of photography, projections and filming (e.g. They have the worlds largest camera!). To finish the tour they show a really cool silent movie on an old 1940s projector as well... More

The museum has a large and impressive collection of projectors and cameras. It is not exactly a museum about the history of the movies, but manly about... More

We loved Caliwood museum!!! An impressive collection of projectors, movieposters and antique camara's. Director Hugo is really kind and passionate about the collections and loves to tell you all about the museum. Hé speaks Spanish and English. There's also an audioguide in both languages.

This place reflect the Cali History with a great collection. Very nice place to visit, you will be surprise with the different elements. Audio boring and the place needs more interactive elements to be more attractive. The place could be better and but I like it a lot and you have to visit
