I read previous reviews about Cristo Rey, with a particular interest in whether or not it could be hiked. Well, it can be hiked, but its its not for the faint-hearted. Its intense, if not gruelling and some areas leave you dangerously exposed to vehicles in blind areas (switcback turns), and takes about an hour and a half to summit from the city. There are cars that can take you down the hill, don't pay more than 30,000 pesos. With that said, I highly recommend it as it provides some breathtaking views that would be briefly witnessed by car.…

Just ok really and pretty much the only sightseeing trip in Cali. We went early in the morning and the taxi that brought us up waited in the car park as there were none at the top.

This is a good way to spend a couple hours in Cali. The sights are fantastic and the monument is impressive as well. If walking is difficult it might be a little bit of a challenge to get to the top.
