There's a fountain outside that you can walk through and get wet. The cathedral itself doesn't look great on the outside but inside it's truly captivating.

A lot of fun to watch and listen to Carnaval bands playing, The show is free and crowed but festive and friendly except watch out for thieves. It is a free then you meet every type.

This is a plaza, lots of hand-laid brick, some trees lining the edges of the upper section. The lower section is more 'park like'. There are concerts here fairly often. Across from the Catedral and the mall Portal del Prado, so you won't get bored.

This is a nice open plaza to take a stroll. Lots of people around and you can buy an ice-cream or juice. There is a large shopping centre next to the plaza and a metro station for good transport links.
