One of the green lungs in the city

Visiting one of the parks in Wenzhou it seems everybody is relaxing and not working. It's a nice park with lots of stairs to climb. Centrally located near Wuma Jie.

When you have a child bring this place
Jan 2016
There are some rides behind the steps of this park. When you have a little kid and want them to be happy, take them to this park! There is also a small pond in there, and they sell fishes there too. This park is also accessible from the side entrance.

Central location with street food market

The park is nice, but the best part is the BBQ street food market behind the park. It's open late and is a fun place to go and enjoy good food

Great location - a place to take a break
Mar 2012 • Solo
You cannot beat the location. Right in the middle of the city, on the busiest street, near the major tourist areas.

It has a river running beside it, lots of little spots to take a break. Lush foliage to protect you from the mid day summer sun and the sudden spring rainstorm. It is usually full of children and their parents taking a breath of fresh air. Right in the center of the park, there is a kiddie ride area, a koi pond where you can feed the fish also a Pagoda style sheltered area where you can see people playing er-hu musical instruments or playing Chinese chess.

The park also has a couple of little hills that you can walk up. At the top, there is a little area to rest and look at the scenery.

If you are imagining a New York City style Central Park or Vancouver style Stanley Park, you would be disappointed. It is not very big. To walk the entire park from south to north, it would take no more than 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. As other contributors have mentioned, it is the best park in Wenzhou by a clear margin however it still isn’t saying that much.

It is a must see destination stop for tourists? No, if your schedule is full with other activities, then this park can be skipped however if you are tired from shopping and walking the tourist beat. This park is perfect to take a breather.

the best park in Wenzhou
It's got a small interesting gallery. Lots of things for kids to play on. Plenty of benches and green grass as well as lots of shade. An all around good park!
