You need to have quite a bit of existing knowledge and be able to speak English to get much out of this controversial figure's home. The Chinese seem to like it, despite the evidence of his Cultural Revolution still plain all around them!

This complex has Zhou Enlai's ancestral home and an attached museum in a replica of a traditional estate home of the imperial era. The reason this attraction is "average" is because all the information is in Chinese and my friend had to translate everything for me. I learned a lot and enjoyed going but I needed a Chinese speaker to make the place informative. I also thought the place was overpriced for what visitors received. Tickets were 40 RMB.
