Arrived at almost 7pm and started to get dark. All the attractions were closed but the absolutely beautiful temple and the red pagoda is worth the leisurely walk uphill for 15min.

This was a last minute idea to visit the place. Easy walk up to the Pagoda. On the way up there are other things that you can pay to gain entry like clock tower.

The park and the Pagoda area is free. The view from there is great. If you have time, pls go there.

This is a park where the locals also visit.

A causal walk up to the top of the hill and visitors will have the panoramic view of the City. There are interesting landmark in Red Hill too, such as: Pagoda, the temple.. The option not to walk is to take a ride of an electric buggy.

Went there three months ago . Place is called “ hun Shan “ in Chinese. Almost in the heart of Urumqi . Not always crowded, sometimes need an Id on you to enter . Not so big . They have golf carts for around 10 yuan’s , it has two entrances and two exit . Try to enter from the ( xi hun dong lu ) side gate . It’s better that way . You can spend easily 2-3 hours there .

This place is best reached by car or taxi, but worth the views of the city and the attractions in the park. The ferris wheel was not worth it compared to the views from the red tower and the other tower showing how Urumqi has changed and developed in the last 60 years. The bobsled-style ride was more fun the my boys or I expected.

Nice park to cool off in during the hot summer day. 10 yuan shuttle bus that takes you to the top of the park where the Red Tower is and back to the entrance. Felt great on a hot day and the lower humidity in Urumqi makes the shade even more inviting.

The red tower itself is nothing extraordinary. Took a couple photos of the city from the higher vantage point. The park is clean and nice to walk through. We spent about an hour here.

Location almost centre of the Urumqi city. Nice views to allaround the city. Some kind of small temple area. Im not sure about the religion. 10 rmb for visit inside the temple. Best thing in this park was the ferrish wheel. From there you can see park and city around. 30 rmb for ferrish wheel. Sorry my bad english.

There's not really much to see in Urumqi and this is one of the few good spots. The park is very well-maintained and clean - there are artificial lakes, areas for the kids to play, pagodas, food vendors. It seems to be a very popular spot with the locals - we visited during the weekend and it was full of families with kids. The views from up there are incredible.

The park is just a park, but it is well maintained, has nice temples and pagodas, and if you're willing to pay for the tickets, there are rides for kids. All in all my group really enjoyed it.
