This seems to have been a civic initiative with no local support. But behind this is the rock market which is much more curious. Any size, any strangeness. The vendors here oil up their rocks to show off their best features, and you can see the discards from making the rock bangles for sale. If you go through this market... More

Since three years ago this street has nothing of note and is more a back alley to nowhere. Not worth a trip to here especially unless you want to explore the Uyghur area of what it's a part.
