Long story short: I booked my ticket online, one adult and one child, it cost me 169 Chinese RMB, I live in Leshan City, not in Chengdu, I traveled to Chengdu from Leshan, when I arrived there they insist to let me change my clothes ( I was wearing short pant and a T-shirt) , I told them I am not going to swim , I am just accompanying my daughter , they refused to let me in without wearing swimming suit, I told them I'm already wearing my short pant and I will remove my shoes and wear my slippers , still they refused to let me in, so I decided to leave, then I asked them to refund me back the ticket, the person in charge ( a young lady and speaks English very well) started to shout at me saying you are a stupid foreigner and we will not refund you the ticket , I was shocked and I felt very speechless and so embarrassed in front of the other people and I ended up leaving without entering the place, and I lost the money I paid for the ticket online , so at the end I came the whole way from Leshan to Chengdu for nothing and I was humiliated in front of all other people, I don't care about the money I paid for the ticket, it is only 169 RMB, not a big deal , I only care about the way they treat the people in there , their staff are completely impolite and very aggressive and have no respect for others and they don't understand the word "customer care", and they're cheating other people, and God only knows how many people they took their money, so I highly recommend anyone is planning to go there to cancel his /her/their visit.

As a Chinese , I warn you guys Never waste your time.
Aug 2019
Travel with my 10 month son , my mom and wife there on 10 Aug.
As a Chinese, my sincerest suggestion is, "Never waste ur time". This is really a very terrible place in terms of service, facility, customer-care, convenient and etc. We pay for quite expensive tickets for nothing.
The place is really sucks.

Fantastic day out in Chengdu
Apr 2018 • Couples
After reading the few reviews online about this water park I was a bit concerned about visiting, but, it was fantastic. Entry off-season was 98CNY per adult, 100CNY for deposit for lockers towels etc all refunded at the end of the day.

We visited on a Monday - it was very quiet with no queues for any of the activities (of which there are loads for all age groups). The wave pool was really fun with DJs and cheerleaders dancing as the wave machine was switched on. The hot spring pools were of different temperatures and very relaxing.

The walking through a mall in your swimming costume.... really it’s not very far and the only thing at that end of the mall is a water park so really was no concern at all.

The park is open 10am - 11pm we spent a good 5 hours there. then there’s the mall - if you want affordable food there is a McDonald’s tucked away at the back of the basement floor.

Oh, and a Bank Machine outside the main enterance turn left and walk along the front of the building - it accepts foreign cards.

Good family fun
Jul 2017 • Family
This waterpark is inside a huge shopping center. We had a very good day with friends and family. There are a lot of water games to do together and a huge swimming pool with a mechanical wave every hour. People have to put on lifejackets on. There are a lot of snack bars to eat.

NIce to see, but not to do.
Mar 2016 • Couples
You'll find this place in Global Center, which is a (mega)-large shopping mall. Yup, that's right, this place is inside a shopping mall. But this is China so they don't think it's weird at all.

I've seen this attraction during the winter (deserted) and the summer time (packed). During the summer the pool can get really full of Chinese people. I think it's obligatory to wear a bright yellow life vest, for safety. But it does make you stand out, and look ridiculous. It's a fun thing to see the kids swimming. I'm not to sure the water is really warm, but during the summer time I can image it to be very refreshing.

There are loads of cafes alongside the constructed 'shore'. And many people do eat and drink there. We didn't try any of the restaurant but they looked promising.

Anyway, I would suggest you go enjoy the rest of Global Center instead of have a swim. This really isn't it.

Don't consider, unless:
- you like spending a lot of money on an activity not worth it
- you like walking half naked through a mall. (yes, the changing rooms are at least 200 meters from the different entrances!)
- you like very cold water to swim in,
- while doing so, you like being watched in swimwear by hundreds of people in the foodcourt, eating their food.
- you are at least 1.40m (they only let you pay 120Y for the kids, but do not let them ride)
- you are fluent in Mandarin, because NONE of the employees we met, could speak anything else
- you like spending a lot of time finding your way into the attractions. Some are closed, others aren't, but it's very hard to see until you're in a dead end.

All in all a 'never again' experience. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Fabulous Place For Summer And Winter
Jan 2015 • Solo
I happily arrived at the Paradise Island Waterpark expectantly; entry pass came with my booking at Intercontinental Hotel Global Centre. Access points were from the InterContinental Hotel for guests and through the Global Centre Shopping Plaza for the general public. It was the last week in January, so some activities weren’t open but for me result couldn’t have been better. I could do as I wished without hordes of people about. I actually enjoyed the different heated spa pools very much. I also went on the lazy river ride and took in the rest. I bypassed other activities because I was restricted by a minor foot injury. Unfortunately there is a real problem with men smoking; whilst I observed that staff were far too slow to react. This inexcusable smoking problem is obviously caused by there being no immediate penalty. This terrific place needs to become a one hundred percent family friendly recreational centre by culprits without exception being both routinely expelled from the park plus also forfeiting their deposit paid. Besides this one fixable failing I found most other things close to fantastic.
