I was full of excitement before visiting the KuanZhai alley thinking that this might be an authentic looking streets from the past. However, the modern looking shops spoil the authenticity of these 2 alley.

Good historic walk thru the wide and narrow alleys of chengdu. Many things to see. Many artists show their skills here. Candy designs can be made in front of you, colorful cotton candy, paper cuts, even dog poop candy.
This place is quite similar to Jinli Street, full of shops and restaurants. But I find some of the shops here are more well decorated compare to Jinji Street. I enjoyed the Chinese architecture buildings and decorations and took many pictures.
