Nothing exciting about an exhibition center, they are all the same and all crowded, depending on which exhibition. This one is no exception. Difficult to access except if you live in one of the neighboring hotels.

Worth a visit just to be overwhelmed with the scale and activity level. mostly western stores, but largest building in the world except Dubai airport. At night the lights are unique and worth seeing

This is the Century City Convention Center at the Century City stop on metro line 1 and is only open when shows are scheduled. For example, during the year there is a car show, regional food show, shopping festivals and various trade shows. Check local schedules for current events. If you are in the area looking for something other than cart food, there are dim sums restaurants, dumplings, fast food, hotel restaurants as well as a bakery on the main road.

Its OK but just OK
If you to visit a major event then you really have no choice but beware. Travelling here is a long way
Transport is a nightmare
Taxi is impossible
Food and Beverage is not available unless you work to the InterContinental Hotel which is highly advised

The actual center itself is huge.
It is five full size airplane hangers attached with walk ways. The first two hangers were filled with local regional displays vendors for different cities and there specialties. In front of the hangers is food alley, a place were local food carts had gathered for quick and easy meals. It really gives a good perspective on the different markets in china.

Yeah, it's quite huge, but it's an exhibition centre so I guess that's what it is supposed to be. There are stalls with food (when there's an exhibition going on), bathrooms (even western toilets) and it's on a subway line 1, so it's really easy to get there.
