Nice temple and fantastic shopping mall
Oct 2019 • Couples
The old style temple is nice and certainly worthwhile visiting. On weekend it can be quite busy and the queue for the teahouse is long. What truly made an impression is how the new shopping mall blends in with the ancient temple. The mall is great with top luxury brands, mid-price shops and plenty restaurants. The metro stops in the front. A should visit when you’re in Chengdu.

"Temple of Infinite Compassion & Mercy"
Aug 2019
The Buddhist temple was originally established during the Wei and Jin dynasties of the 3rd century, last reconstructed in 1867, and restored in 2003. Today, it is a medium-size temple complex, much smaller than the original. There were prayers taking place during our visit, with worshipers chanting their prayers. There are many beautiful statues, some likely gold-leaf covered.

Old and the New
Apr 2019 • Couples
Right in the middle of a modern shopping centre full of restaurants and big named European stores lies the temple with its buddahs and tea rooms Despite being so central it has an air of tranquility and walking in each of its many halls was a different experience every time as there was plenty to marvel at and appreciate.Lots of candela and incense burning outside and a huge indoor and outdoor tea room Would reccomend if in the centre of town if only to see how to blend two different cultures be careful not to step into the water on the outside new area near the wall

Lovely temple in the center of Chengdu
Apr 2019 • Solo
the temple is in the middle of chengdu in TaiGuLi。 very nice old temple with rich history. what you should not miss when there, take the time and visit the tea house inside. not touristy at all, all local people who i guess went always there when they were young and chengdu much smaller. its a great place and busy, you might have to wait for a seat....a lovely place where when you sit, relax and observe others you might think times has not changed at that place.

Pleasant stop if you are in the vicinity
Apr 2019 • Family
Nestled in the bustling shopping area Tai Koo Li. The temple provides a simple contrast to the surrounding modernity. We walked here from our hotel and made this our destination so did not pay any attention to the high-end shops. But if shopping excited you, there will be plenty for you here. The temple itself is interesting enough but if you have seen other Buddhist temples in China you probably don't need to make a special trip. However, if you are in the vicinity and have the time it makes a pleasant stop. Entrance is free. There is little in the way of information about the temple and virtually nothing in English.

A temple too beautiful, Buddha would not like it
Sep 2018 • Family
This temple is the most beautiful, shinning and splendid temple I ever see. It's a fantastic place if you see it as art of architecture, but I wonder if monks could concentrate here for zen, instead of making money, :D

Hidden Temple Next to Takoo Li
Dec 2017 • Solo
Daci Temple is located next to Takoo Li. It is surrounded by tall skyscrapers as well. As a result, it is unlikely you will notice the temple as the shopping experience ahead is more tempting. Inside the temple, there aren't many English descriptors, There is also lack of interesting artefacts that are deal breakers. Overall, the temple is only worth a visit if you have time.

A beautiful place
Jun 2018 • Friends
We found this almost by accident when visiting the shopping villageand were really impressed. It is a beautifully maintained, tranquil place in the heart of the city and had a more spiritual ambience than many of the temples we’d been taken to as part of our tour.
