Really friendly & personable, and super knowledgeable about the regions we visited. The trip was seamless from the minute we we're met at the airport in Chengdu to our travels around Yushu & Surmang, Dutsi-Til & Namgyal-tse. Trip of a lifetime for sure. I highly recommend, and would go back in a heartbeat.

This trip was the real deal. Stayed with families in remote locations and experienced the real Tibetan culture and food. Our guides were the best! They worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed and more.

I was part of an amazing trip to Tibet in June of 2018. We visited the Amdo Region on a trip called Nature, Birds and Culture. We started in Chengdu and then made a loop up through the Amdo Region. We had a chance to see about 150 different species of birds, all of which were new species for me. We saw incredible grasslands in the Tibetan Plateau, one of the largest high elevation grasslands in the World. We saw several different wildlife species, including the red panda in the wild (incredible)!!! And, met several nomadic families who rely on yak for their livelihood. We visited incredible monasteries and learned about Tibetan culture. The people, the food, the wildlife and the landscapes were absolutely incredible. The Conscious Journeys guides did an incredible job. I would highly recommend this trip. It was a trip of a lifetime for me! Also, if you are a photographer, you are going to love it!

This was an amazing trip! We spent 2 weeks in the Kham area of Tibet in June 2017 providing women's health education, hygiene, first aid and provided some basic medical care to several remote areas who are vastly underserved by the medical community due to their locations. Conscious Journeys arranged everything wonderfully. We had knowledgeable guides and drivers - all our needs were taken care of. If you have a skill to share, I would absolutely recommend joining any one of Conscious Journey's mission trips! You won't regret it. I am planning another medical mission with Conscious Journeys in July 2019 and can't wait!

We had a wonderful trip to the Derge area including Dzogchen, Dzongsar, Shechen, and Surmang via Yushu. Our guides were extremely helpful in trying to accommodate our wishes. This journey left me with a deep impression and was truly life-changing.
