We came here on a Sunday afternoon and spent hours wondering the beautiful park, and enjoying the view over the lake which is absolutely breathtaking.

As you walk along the outside of the park you come to a wetland park pathway, which leads to the Ming Tomb of Shu King a museum held within ancient buildings. This is beautiful and cool to look around for only 10¥ however all the signs are in Chinese and don’t translate very well so don’t expect to understand anything.

Well worth a visit!

When I first visited this place it was a derelict piece of land surrounding a decent sized lake that was fenced off from the pubic. However from mid 2015 some big money was poured into developing the lake and by the start of 2016 it opened to the public. It is now a great attraction, but at this point few westerners know about it. Flowers and tree have been planted all around the lake, so that there is something blooming in every season. Extensive cycle tracks have been developed and you can even visit the adjacent Ming Tombs of Shu Kingdom on the eastern end of the park. The lake is big - it takes two hours to walk around. There are plenty of vendors selling drinks so be sure to carry some cash. The number 80 bus travels there from the Mix C Mall. In the future Metro line 4 will be extended so it reaches the lake. The park is kid friendly. There is a playground on the eastern end of the lake, and it was great fr scooting around.
