We waited outside in line for over an hour. If I had been aware that the exhibits were not consistently translated I would have skipped it. Good arrangements and spacing of exhibits and very nicely stocked gift shops, but there were an abundance of them....More

Since it was situated a stone's throw from my hotel, I had to visit this museum. Even my travel companion who doesn't like museums very much was awed by the architecture and came along. It was free anyway; you only need to show your passport....More

Many wings of this museum are still in development. Most of it is dedicated to the communist party history and Chengdus role with some areas dedicated to old Chengdu. There is a section for Russian history also, but it's not great. Free entry with passport...More
