Well above my expectations
Aug 2019 • Couples
I am around for a conference. Came here without expecting much, and found the park and Tower well worth the visit. Many mentioned the steps: indeed there are many, but the climb is not challenging at all. The tower is a modern building, inspired to ming style, extremely elegant and pleasant. The view from the top is indeed amazing. Really enjoyed it.

The iconic tower
May 2018 • Friends
For tourists, the tower is the main drawing card of the park. Looking down from Weihai Huancui Tower gives a good view of the rest of the park and the city. As an overall tourist attraction in China, the best rating I could give it is “Average.”

One of the landmarks you cannot miss in 威海
Jul 2018
One of the bigger landmarks central in weihai. There is a nice relaxing garden around the stairs. Remember to bring your passport!! otherwise you won’t be able to buy the ticket.

Great hike with beautiful views
Nov 2017 • Family
The tower is right in the middle of the city and is accessible by bus or taxi. The area is beautiful and there are a ton of stairs to climb to get to the top. The entry tickets are to the side of the tower and require a passport/ID card. Make sure to bring yours or else you can't get into the tower. Once inside the tower, they have shoe covers and small exhibits on the first couple floors. Honestly, the exhibits are nothing special, so I would go straight to the top and enjoy the great panoramic views of Weihai. After checking out the tower, I would suggest to go to the back of the mountain. We have a toddler and baby, and the back of the mountain had a great park with lots of playgrounds and big slides for children. I enjoyed the tower and my toddler enjoyed the playground!

Can't Miss Landmark
Jun 2017 • Couples
If you're in downtown Weihai, you can't miss the park as it rises above everything around it. Whether you're at the city hall square or Wego shopping center, this tower looms above. If you have an hour, the park is worth visiting. There are a lot of stairs to reach the tower but there's a shaded path next to the stairs that is a better option. Once at the top of the park, get a free ticket, then ascend the tower. A view of the whole city and the ocean awaits at the top.

Many stairs to climb but worth it. Prepare passport to enter tower. It's free for foreigner. You can see weihai port and beach park from the tower.

Close to city and very interesting

Be prepared to do a lot of walking and lots of steps to temples , but well worth it. There are little buses to take you around for convenience. Enjoyed the horse riding show and the Civil Air defence museum. On a saturday lots of tour parties with loud speakers which are very annoying when in buildings. Take your sunscreen and hat in summer.
