Wanda Plaza is located on Yanji Street, just off Shandong Road. It features three levels of shopping and dining, bus access, and is adjacent to many more shops and restaurants nearby.
beneath the mall is a huge food market and several more variety shops and a pharmacy. In addition to every fruit and vegetable ever grown, they have a large meat counter and quite a bit of prepared foods including two sushi layouts.
I noticed the review entitled "chinashouting." I believe that reviewer was confusing Wanda Plaza with the Good Times Hotel which is located in the high rise above Wanda Plaza. The hotel is an inexpensive extended stay affair with issues common to extended stays.
The Wanda Plaza is upscale shopping and the two are separate entities. The Starbucks in the mall has employees that are decent English speakers and can help with your WIFI connection, if needed.
From May 4th Square and the Olympic Sailing Center area, one can take the 224 bus to Yanji, it's the Library stop. Qingdao buses announce stops in Mandarin and English.
If you want a bus card, they are available at the Information building about 100 meters west of Wanda Plaza on Yanji.
One other note, I see some folks complain that "the staff didn't speak English, in various reviews." First of all, please be aware that many Chinese who don't speak English can read and write English. Second, pocket translators are not expensive and can help tourists who are mono-lingual. Additionally, apps are available for your smart phone that will translate for you. If you use the electronic translators, try to keep it simple to make the device work best.
Wanda is a safe shopping destination for the entire family.

Is huge n new.. a good handful of reknowned stores like Nike, adidas, Uniqlo, H&M, Innesfree, Gap...Lots of eateries and restaurants located at higher floors.
kFC n Starbucks are located at level 1 to 3!
Working local adults are dinning at small eateries in B1.
No super market in this mall, maybe is closed for renovation in July when I visited.
1 shocking fact - partially aircon are turned on in weekday!

title says it all. Uneducated shouting Chinese place
Next to our room a wild shouting woman, left room prostitutes,
outside litter and furniture.
a once great place brought down in within two years
Broken doors, alarm shouting for 4 days.
Nice without pollution....

I'm not much for shopping but this mall has just about anything one could want. There are many restaurants, both Western and Chinese. I've tried the Starbucks, KFC, DQ, and "Lezy Life Restaurant," all of which were on par or better. There is a ton of shopping for clothes are other items available. There are often shows in the main hall; last time I was there there was a League of Legends tournament going on live. This is a great place to go out with friends and family or to people watch.

There is apparently a large grocery store in the basement, but it has been closed the last few times that I've visited.

All in all, quite disappointed with shopping in Qingdao in general. Hubby and I are an Australian Couple and quite tall. Had reasonable money to spend but nothing to spend it on. No clothes fit and more aimed to Chinese market. Most malls are very high end price wise and completely soul less with no atmosphere whatsoever. Wanda Plaza was better than most with a bit more to look at and poke through. Still didn't buy alot but found a couple of trinkets. More reasonably priced than most malls.
