Walking πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ distance from downtown, just 30 minutes from May 4th square. During winter ❄️ time in cold πŸ₯Ά and windy 🌬 weather deserted, there are few people walking around. Summer time it’s packed with people as it’s closest beach 🏝 from Qingdao downtown. Good for sightseeing and walk not so much for relaxing 😌. Walking πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ path are great with options of snack and drink πŸ₯€

Great lighting is visible from this beach at night. During the day it is also a great place to walk.

After visiting Zhanqiao Bridge, I suddenly decided to walk along the beach way and to the east of Taiping corner, then voila, I found the third beach!! This one from a distance you can see tall buildings and find so many shops that sell dried squid and fish fillets~))!! Yum! I ate those when I was a child and know how good it tastes) Then swimmers can be found here too, they love to swim on a warm day.

Our hotel was in the vecinity, so we had plenty of opportunity to walk here. Nice skyline, however the beach is dirty and the water full of seaweed. You can take some nice pictures here, though. Nice todo item on the beach walk.

We live here and visit often. It's nice and relatively quiet during the off season, which is nice. It's very different from low tide to high tide. At low tide, there's lots of beach, but its gone at high tide. Lots of vendors but they're not too annoying. Don't expect relaxing though.

Westerners and Chinese are very different. For them, it's a good swimming venue with the family. For us, a nIce walk along the sea with lovely surrounding rocky scenery. For those romantic moments, night time will complement this ideal setting!

I don't call this a beach... more like a pier... or a coastline or something like that. Full of people and not clean.

Sorry I cannot recommend this beach. The view is great to walk past, nice view of the city skyline, however for bathing, eating, relaxing, its too small, too dirty & far too many people to be comfortable. Walking past on the beach boardwalk is the best option.
