Qingdao, China1 contribution4 helpful votes
This place is trully off the tourist grid map. I went there during the long weekend and it was really quiet. It's a really nice place to spend a day and really worth checking out. Most people ( by people i mean tourists and foreigners) who live in Qingdao have trouble getting there even though one can see the mountain peak from far away. To get there, basically, one has to take Number 1 bus from Qingdao's main train station and then get off at any time during the Huangdao long road leading up to Shandong University,(Jialingjiang rd) almost to the very end. Then take bus No. 6 all the way to the parking lot. The routes for both buses are intertwined for some stretches of the road. I found the place armed with the map and no Mandarine skills whatsoever. People were very friendly and guided me to bus stops i needed to be at. Entry fee to the park is 45 yuan, plus unecessary electric car, is quite reasonable and again, one of the biggest payoffs received would be the lack of crowd. Hope this review helps everyone.
