Riviera in norther seaside
Aug 2019 • Solo
Qingdao is considered as famous for seafood 🦞 and beaches. There are many smaller or bigger beaches visited by many tourist from spring to autumn 🍂. Beaches 🏖 are connected with seaside walk path. Mostly sandy beaches with bigger stones not like south east Asia with fine sand. During good weather super crowded with people resting on beach with tents ⛺️, playing with kids, not as you are used from Europe in typical beach places. It is unique experience

Unique shoreline

Rocky shore. It was interesting to watch the Chinese combing for creatures under rocks. There is a long paved walk way with benches.

Vibrant yet peaceful
Dec 2017
For a Latin american, just being there, feeling the sea breeze and looking out into the distant horizon on the other side of the planet made visiting this beach one of the highlights of my trip. Let alone the fact that the whole country was overtly getting ready for the 2008 Olympic games: it seemed that every single person was actively contributing to the cause, and it showed. English was spoken (not widely though) and also some Spanish. Visiting the Qingdao beer factory is a must. Excellent beer, by the way!

Just another very scenic place but not for swimming too risky with the high tides and rocks all round

Best part was climbing the rock and catching crabs. Literally people love it. Good time spending if you have no thing else to do in Qingdao.

Lovely Seashore. Great Place for Kids to Explore
Oct 2017 • Solo
Clean and rocky. Lots of natural cubby holes and tidal pools holding small bits of seaweed and little creatures. Great for kids to explore. But under parental control - the rocks are sharp and tall enough in some places for a child to fall and get hurt. Overall, lovely views with a park just above the beach for picnics.

Lovely beach, Oct 2011

My last time in Qingdao I did remember going to another beach. Very beautiful! It was clean!! NOT a filthy place at all! Seagulls roam all around the beach in the afternoon and swimmers and surfers go there to surf or swim too! It can be cold even in August because of the cold/cool breeze that always blows when you're there, overall, I LOVE IT!!

Qingdao is in Shandong province, which is a famous blue city in China.
When I arrive in Qingdao, I fell my world become very clean. And the people is very friendly. I remember that I lost my way, come back to the hotel, I asked for help to the people, then they take me to the hotel. So, I think Qingdao is a clean and friendly city.
I think the seafood is very delicious, and I like it. Compared with other seafood, the shrimp and crab that is in Qingdao is just come out from the bottom of the sea, more fresh and delicious. Of course, I didn’t meet the so-called seafood, on the contrary, I eat the seafood is very fresh and affordable.
If you come to Qingdao, it is very interesting to rent a tent on the beach. When night falls, looking at the stars, it is a different experience.

Qingdao Beach
Oct 2016 • Solo
Beautiful stretch of sand, long and die. Great for a morning run, as the sand is wet after the tie has receded, which makes it for a good surface. The beam is about 1.5 miles long, and about 200-300 years wide. Visited in the Fall, so it is not crowded. I did not go in the water. Overall, I recommend a visit.
