Great custom tour

We didn't know too much about Qingdao before arriving here, so we were pleasantly surprised and how much it had to offer. We were there for only one day on a cruise ship. We had a great highlights tour that went out to Mt Laoshan (beautiful area and palace) and then spent the balance of the day in the city, exploring the Tsingtao Beer Museum and getting great overviews of the city. We had a great tour guide - Wang Xing - who gave us a wonderful introduction to this city, including a trip up to the top of an overlook for beautiful panoramic views of downtown. The whole tour was tailored to what we wanted to do.

A well organised tour

We were on a cruise, and I organised this tour for 14 through cruise critic. As I didn't know the other guests, all I had to do was advise Discovery Qingdao of their email address, and they organised the payment directly with the other individuals, which made my job very easy.On the day, we were met by our guide and we visited the Mt Laosham scenic area and the beer museum. The day went well and we were happy with the guide who spoke reasonable English.Organisation and email communication with Suzy from Discovery Qingdao was excellent.We arrived back at the port with plenty of time.

Mt. Laoshan and Taiqing Palace Tour

Excellent tour and guide. Mt. Laoshan and Taiqing Palace Tour was a specialized tour given by Michael, general manager of Qingdao Migo International Travel Services, inc. There were the two of us (my husband and myself) on a personalized tour of Mt. Lao. Michael was not only personable but intelligent and knowledgeable about Qingdao. He walked with me to the falls, He guided and explained the Temple and its history, then, he sneaked in a special treat for my husband, a concluding trip to Quingdao beer factory.Michael was special and I would highly recommend him as either a guide or a tour developer.Joy Rockway

In this August, we had a wonderful time in Qingdao. Thanks, discoveryqingdao for organizing such a wonderful trip for me and my family. We liked beautiful city and nice people, and of course the freshest Qingdao beer. Before we came here, we didn't know much about this city. We will definitely be back.
