A large natural spring bubbles up in the center of this park. It can be crowded on weekends and holidays, but you can always find a quiet shady corner to relax and escape the heat of Jinan. People fill their water bottles and play in shallow areas of the spring. There is no swimming area. The ticket can be purchased... More

It's a park. It has fresh-water springs in it. You pay to get in. Ok, those three pertinent remarks stated, let's put them into context. It is a park, it is a nice park. It is a nicely sculpted, inner-city park. It is no nicer than any number of other Chinese inner-city parks, including those that are free to access.... More

This was my second time to the Baotu Springs--the first being about ten years ago. At that time the springs were bubbling and the water was clear and clean. This visit in May found the springs looking terrible. Perhaps the water level was down but none of the springs was bubbling and pools were looking polluted and dirty. The park... More

Interesting historical elements. Very nice walks and features. The record of the Japanese invasion is a grim reminder of history.

This is the most famous thing to do in Jinan, and if you have not been to many Chinese parks you would probably find it really interesting. But if you are used to the way Chinese parks are then it is nothing special. You can buy a combined ticket for this, Daming lake and the Five-Dragon Pond for 70RMB, but... More

The visit is free of charge and can walk along side of the beautiful spring. Also, we can sail in boat through the spring water.

A great park to relax, enjoy a walk around the park with Chinese Opera performances, a nice tea garden and view of the famous hot springs! Very busy on weekends, I would suggest visit during the weekdays! Enjoy your visit at Baotu Spring Park. I remembered outside the park you could take a horse carriage ride to other part of... More

Great spot to meet people playing traditional games, appreciating the floral landscape, the Pavillons and of course the 7 springs.

It was very beautiful in the spring, and a nice break away from the busy city, even though it's right in the city centre. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't too busy.
