Oldest temple and lot of statues. Mountain climbing is good. At top, cave is good to travel. Pond alignment is good. Lot of historical things can gather at the foot and in the mountain of Lingyan

This temple is about 1hr drive from west Jinan. It is located in the mountains, and it has been preserved from damages from the past tumultuous history of China because it was difficult to access. A little out of the way near Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. The temple is centuries old and holds an important place I the history of Buddhism in China. This is an amazing temple that is aways out of the city, but so worth the trip. There are incredible lifelike statues of monks inside one of the buildings, and the temple tower is so beautiful.
