This park was very huge, consisting of many gardens. I entered by the east entrance, which was quiet and peaceful. As I walked towards the north gate, which was the main entrance, it was very crowded with many families gathering at the kid’s playground, boat rides in the pond, food and game stalls.
It was a Saturday afternoon, hence many locals were having picnics especially in this section of the park. There was even an area where rows of placards were displayed - singles advertising for match making.
Major parts of the gardens were rather barren, due to the cold weather in late March. I suppose visiting here in later months will be ideal to enjoy the gardens. Nevertheless, there were few peach blossom trees blooming with beautiful pink flowers.
Entrance is free. One can easily spend 2 hours leisurely enjoying the park.

This is a great, clean, fun park - and it's FREE! There are lots of trees and flowers around each path. It has quite a few amusement park rides. Each ride costs about 20 kuai, but if you visit on a weekday, when it's not crowded, they are likely to bargain with you.

A good place for a stroll after dinner. Watching dancing fountain, evening kite flying, line dancing or just enjoy the musical performance by seniors who play just for fun.
