I'll be honest, it's the only time I've ever been to a water cave, so it's the best one I've ever been to. But really it's a cave that is what I guess we'd say in mid-formation, as long as water is still there the...More

Apart from the bad weather we had that day, we still had good fun. These water caves are beautiful. A must see. Be sure to take something warm, it gets a bit chilly in those caves and you just might get wet too. Most importantly,...More

I had very low expectations when arriving. A water cave doesn't sound very exciting. However, when you get there, the scale of this place absolutely blew me away. I visited in winter, so there wasn't that many people there. The walking section was pretty nice,...More

I have always loved caves, and this has become one of my favorites. You can escape the heat of the day with a relaxing boat ride in the underground river. It's chilly enough that they offer coats to visitors.

This type of place in China is always interesting. You can imagine that 10 years ago it was amazing. In reality the stuff that looks 10 years old is only 4-5 years old. The actual water cave is huge and amazing and interesting. The outdoor...More

Half hour train ride on a fast train from Shenyang and approximately 30 mins by taxi. Tour groups operate at the weekends. We visited on a Tuesday which meant it was quiet. Impressive caves, well set up a good boat tour with big jackets provided....More

Really worth the effort to get there. Chinese day bus tour from Shenyang costs 155 yuan (entry to Caves alone is 135 yuan). 2 fantastic karst caves - one dry walking and 1 a great boat ride 2.8 km -all included. The formations are unbelievable....More

It is a really wonderful place to visit! Besides the caves there is a beautiful park with silicified (petrified) trees. The cut surfaces of some of them are polished and you see different colours of impurities, like gem stones, in between the circles indicating years...More

I can't remember clearly but I think it was 60-90yuan for the whole thing. There's a shuttle that takes you to the cave, a museum and an old defunct amusement park.
