Luyuan Antique city markets (鲁园古玩城)
Every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to about 5pm on WenLi street from SanHao Jie to XiBinHe Lu (spilling out into the park adjacent to KO Club) is covered in small stalls that sell a wide range of flea market-type products.
There's second hand clothes, shoes and possessions. There's home made craft products such as wood carvings, big jade and stone sculptures. You can also pick up loads of military items and socialist /communist memorabilia here, including North Korean, Vietnamese as well as Chinese. There's also loads of old products, such as radios, second hand tools, toys, old bottles.
All of the items are set out on blankets on the foot path. The owner of the items is usually behind the blanket of nearby. You should be lucky to find anyone who speaks English (apart from "hello"), but with sign language and a calculator you'll get by.
As with all small stalls in China, if you're a foreigner be prepared to pay 3-10 times the price for a local (unless you can charm them - so be polite and say 'ni hao' when you first stop and say 'sheh sheh ah' when you move on).
You may find a perfect condition mink coat for 2000 rmb, you might find that little brass statue for a souvenir for 10 rmb. And, those ming coins might actually be real (every second stall owner is selling a bucket full of them, all claiming they're real and were only recently dug up on a building site after being buried during the cultural revolution).
Even at inflated prices, you'll walk away with bargains compared to prices in the West. Remember, a lot of these people have come from villages/poor parts of town/are retired and do this to supplement the minimum income they get from the government (2000 rmb/month).

This market has a lot of random items. My wife loved the variety of stones for sale. I liked all of the outdoor gear and randomness of it all.

We arrives at 16hoo at this so called antique market, first of all more than 50% already left, the remaining stands were also starting packing up their stuff. Secondly there was not much antiquities to see, more different general things,.. Inside there is one corridor with shops showing jade statues and jewelry as well different other precious stones.
In my opinion not really worth to go there except if you like jade.

Hi there.
I was there over weekend so weekend market kind of make me want to drop by.
Going there by taxi was a breeze and there is a lot of people selling stuff outside and inside of the antique market. Once inside you can see a lot of interesting items. The peddlers are not English speaking so beware. The items there are also kind of repetitive. One last important point is the items can be fake.. if you are not an expert please consider to bring someone knowledgeable and check certification.
As some of the items can be priced aggressively leading to negotiations.
Enjoy your visit. Safe travel
