The square has the park & is surrounded by the very nice picturesque buildings which are mainly converted in to banks currently. A nice place to go for morning walk. Later as the day begins this becomes one of the crowded place.

Although many of the buildings are now used for Chinses businesses, the architecture is very European. The square gives an interesting historical overview of the area and is an easy place to walk about. The central park, which is accessed from the MRT station, has beautiful gardens and is a fun place to sit and watch the children, of all ages, feeding the pigeons.

There are some nice old buildings around the square but you can’t visit them and otherwise there is nothing there.
