Not very japanese!

It resembles any other street in Dalian. Not bad for shopping. Dirty & unkempt. Traffic average. Buildings have similar structures to elsewhere in the city.

Many European architectures in this vicinity. Many couples come here to take wedding photos. If you like old buildings, this is a place for your to visit

A little slice of Japanesa in North-West China

Qiqa Street, not far from Midtown Dalian, is a quaint reminder of Dalian and Dong-Bei’s era of Japanese occupancy. Not much of the architecture in this small street is particularly Japanese in appearance, but there are a number of Japanese businesses as the presence of Japanese characters on the shopfronts testify. These include eateries such as the pint-sized JoJo’s Tea. Qiqa Lu also has several buildings unrelated to Japanese culture or cuisine, like the ambiguously named “Paparazza Who’s the Murderer? (WTF!)

Went there at night to see although there are not many Japanese buildings standing but it is very pleasant for a night stroll.

Japanese Cultural Street Close To Japanese Style Street
Nov 2018 • Couples
Not far from the Japanese Style Street is a new area called Japanese Cultural Street. It's one block chock full of Japanese establishments: bars, clubs, restaurants, and a bath house.

Street food in Caifaqu Dalian , China . Development Zone
Dec 2017
I was working at Cosco Shipyard and stay in the Five Colors City - Cai Fa Qu . There is a shopping area which has Walmart, Costco .... This intersection has several shopping malls , super market, restaurants and street food.
The street food has seafood, Chinese style pancake with eggs, scallions, chop up hotdog , seafood such as oysters with glass noodle(made out of beans) , shrimp ...varierty of sweet. It was the winters with -15 C out and it is nice to try out some hot noodle soup. The foods in this area has chilly in almost everything , i dont really like that but maybe someone would enjoy the heat.

Japanese Street Near Russian Street In Chinese City
Feb 2017
Dalian is a beautiful, under-rated, city in Dongbei, or north-east, China, and it has many attractions. The Japanese Street, like the Russian Street, or minor attractions. They are for local tourists rather than international travellers.

Old Architecture

This street (Feng Lin) and the surrounding neighborhood is a great mix of restored and unrestored Japanese architecture. Nice daytime exploration.

Prepare to walk and use public transport
Dec 2016
When I went, I had the opportunity to take a local so there was no language barrier. The street is calm and quiet which is a change from China in general. I wish that there were more places open to buy food/snacks, however I found it interesting to learn about the history that the Japanese and China share. Go up close to a couple of the houses and you'll see how they are being restored.

This place has Japanese Buildings, but no Japanese People. Atlease I didn't see any. Very little Japanese Restaurant. We ate at one of them. It was ok. Interesting place, but not worth a special trip just to go there. The Children park is also nearby. Lot of Restaurants nearby.
