Half a year ago I went to this dock. If you stay in the city centre, you will need to take metro line 2(Blue) then transfer to Line 1(Green), then take southbound and exit at the terminal station if He Kou to finally ride the last LONG TRAIN Line 12(Purple) to Lvshun Port!! Take line 12 all the way! It takes at least 90 minutes for the combined trip so be sure to take something with you like a book or water to stay awake.

Once you’re there, follow the signs and you’ll get to the port! But it was barren by the coast...better to come in the summer

This site is worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Features a submarine, and some naval relics. Perhaps more interesting for foreigners than locals, but fairly impressive all the same.

The history & local folklore of the area dates long back. The locals are friendly. The docks can best be viewed from the mountains.
