Not worth the trip

It still has some of the crazy charm described in other reviews of this place. but in addition to a severe lack of maintenance in the park, a lot of the area inside the park have now been taken over by other enterprizes. You now find a driving school, a ktv and a lasertag game being operated within the park. None of the buildings (which i believe was open to park-goers earlier) is now open as part of the attraction. These buildings are now offices for the beforementioned enterprizes, a couple is restaurants which werent open (i think), the big building is admin and a couple of houses seems to be homes. Even so, not the worst trip to go for a walk and entry fee is only 15rmb. But dont travel far to go there.

Unique and Intriguing Park

If you're looking for something different to do in Nanchang, stop by the Global Park. It's like nothing I've seen before with it's panda statues and European style architecture. You walk in and it has this feeling like you've stepped back in time. It's only 20 yuan and you have a chance to wander around the place and take lots of fun photos with all the bizarre items you will find here!! And it's a great place for kids to run around!!

See the world in Nanchang

Nanchang Global Park is an old and not very well maintained amusement park, outside the city center. It's a little creepy and weird but well worth the 20 RMB for the entrance fee. You can find everything here, pandas (plastic), a pirate ship, bavarian houses, the statue of liberty and a mosque. If you need a break from the crazy traffic in Nanchang and the noise, this place is perfect. There are no cars, no scooters, no yelling taxi drivers and no other people around.

I think this park was built in the 1980s. They have everything from statues of pandas to the statue of liberty. They have a place where people can play paint ball as well as team building obstacle course. I love it for the QUIET. There are no scooters. No cars... and mostly no people. All the areas are supposed to be symbolic of famous places, even the Seattle Science Center! I've been there 3 times now since I live close and I really like the weird, quiet beauty. 20 RMB to get in. Take your camera for some funky photos.

Interesting and kitschy place to visit in Nanchang

I have gone past this place many times, and then my wife and I decided to go see what it was all about. It cost 20RMB for a ticket.
It is an older amusement park that has not been updated. I has many world landmarks as sculptures and scenic spots within the park. There is a Statue of Liberty, Bavarian village, world flag plaza, several famous sculptures, and a trail with the busts of famous scientists, musicians, politicians, and humanitarians.
If you go with an open mind and a sense of humor, you will enjoy yourself. The trails are nice and quiet. No cars honking or loudspeakers blaring. We enjoyed our 2+ hours walking around.
