This tower was a highlight on my second visit to Zhenjiang in 2009. I was looking forward to climbing to the top again and was disappointed that it was closed. The entire park seemed to be a bit neglected unlike other sites in the area that have improved. I included a photo of the interior and a photo of a view from the tower somewhere on the way up in 2009.

Once you have visited the Jinshan Park and you have seen its attractions, it will be great to climb up the stairs and reach the Cinshou Tower in order to have a good view of the Park and Yangtze River. The tower itself was found closed but you can walk behind the tower and reach a lookout spot (almost same height with the last floors of the tower) in order to see the view having the tower on your right. The path to reach the spot starts on your left just before the last steps prior reaching the tower yard's gate.
