An Excellent Trip
Nov 2018 • Friends
This year, the most impressive trip for me,is the school trip in November 2018.I went there with my classmates and a math teacher ,Mr. long.First,we went to Nanjing. When we arrived in Nanjing,it was already afternoon,so we didn't have the special foods there, which made me feel a little regretful. We visited a lot of scenic spots and historical sites in Nanjing. They all shocked me very much.Nanjing's hotel was very comfortable and beautiful,we all slept well in these days. Then we went to Zhenjiang,we took a lot of photos there. As you can see, these three photos were taken from Beigu Mountain in Zhenjiang. We learned many interesting history form there,I really enjoyed it.The reason why this trip is unforgettable,is that I have many great memories, and I spent a wonderful time with them.

Park average but view from top is amazing
Aug 2017 • Friends
The park is pretty average for China- lots of green and some old walls for defending the area. Note that it's a pretty far climb up and there are significant areas without shade. The signs are in English but not well-translated. However, once you get to the very top tower, there's an absolutely incredible view of Zhenjiang from one side, and on the other, of the Yangtze and across to Yangzhou. Would recommend for that view.

Nice place to see
Jul 2017 • Friends
The place is really, with beautiful pieces of history like a small iron pagoda from Song dynasty. Building are also nice with few calligraphies. The scenery aroind is also beautiful.
And the best, few people are going there in summer time, so it was a very pleasant and quite visit.

Spectacular everyday life!
Jun 2017 • Solo
This park had changed since I had been there seven years ago. I remembered it being very open and not used by many people. I was happy to see it was now a destination for the locals. There were several folks in different areas of the park using a toy like contraption that looked like it took skill and required good balance and precision movements. There were others playing musical instruments under a tree canopy. There was an area where card games were being played by in groups and others were hanging out in hammocks. I've been to parks in China before and have appreciated seeing everyday life, but this was by far the most interesting. The park itself was average, but the people made it spectacular for foreign eyes.

Fascinating and beautiful
Jun 2017 • Solo
I was here seven years ago and wasn't sure what to expect after so much time had passed. The site was as beautiful as I remembered it. The signing had improved and it was easy to get around and see all of the points of interest. The view of the Beigu Tower from the Multi View Tower was great and the view of the city and river from both was excellent. The foliage throughout the area was absolutely beautiful.

The town has three hills. This one is one of them with some history in background. Nice place to visit.

An Ancient Monument worth a Visit
Jan 2016 • Couples
BeiGushan is listed as a 5 star attraction and I think it live up to the rating. This is a small attraction and one should be able to cover it within 2 hours. This is a very historical attraction. Though the Beigou Lou and the DuoJin Lou were recently completed, they are well done ad one has to put on a shoe cover to get up the building, which is a good practice. There are many historical stories surrounding these building and it is rather pathetic that the local tourist authority fail to capitalize on it to promote it for the enjoyment of all.

A Real Treasure, though Unattended
Sep 2015 • Couples
Beigu is perhaps the least known or popular of the '3 mountains' in Zhenjiang (Jinshan, Jiaoshan and Beigu). Consequently it's not as touristy or crowded. In fact if you have enough knowledge about the Chinese culture (not just dubious folklores told by guides, but the history, the literature masterpieces), then you will sure find Beigu a treasure of historic and literature implications. It's a shame though, that the park is not attended to carefully enough. For example, some trees and shrubs grow so high that they block the entire view of several sight-seeing stands. Those places are where ancient emperors, generals or poets have been standing and watching the scenes. But now we can only see trees.

Dancing
Jun 2012 • Friends
The park and mountain are a lot of fun to visit. Going on a nice warm day is wonderful. But what's lots of fun, is going there at night. Hundreds of people go to dance/exercise. Different groups play music and you can join in. I love to go dance!
