Fully commercialized "holly" place which has nothing to do with spirituality or any other experience not connected to money! If you ask me, it is quite kitschy and typically Chinese in this era: all about image without any substance. Expensive for what it is!

The fountain show at Ling Mountain was very impressive, including how the lotus flower at the top opened to reveal Baby Buddha.

My Chinese host built this up as really spectacular but I wasn't massively impressed, maybe it was over-sold!

I loved the baby Buddha coming out of the lotus blossom to music. Water spraying in all colors. The lake is in the background to make the perfect setting. A nice family spot.

This was a great show with very nice music in the back grown. The water spray up towards the flower has it opens and a baby Buddha comes out and depending on your angle the Big Buddha is in the back grown.

The bronze Buda is 88 meters tall if I remember right, and 770 tons of bronze..... it's HUGE. The experience was not very pleasant as it was hot, and the crowds were terrible. The only way to the actual statue base is by elevator, and...More

Went with company staff, good to see and learn on the Buddhist religion. Not recommend for those not keen on religion related. As it generally known more as it is fully on budding history and for some level of praying. There is media show on...More

The entrance fee is steep but there is a lot to see in the whole park: the enormous Buddha statue, the funny laughing Buddha, a water fountain, a Buddhist palace and more. All the sights are related to Buddhism. The Buddha statue is 80 meters...More
