This is a truly beautiful garden area, and we were fortunate enough to see many activities at the time

I wouldn't call it majestic, but you can survey Suzhou pretty well from the top of the pagoda. The rest is an average garden, but since it isn't one of the main attractions in Suzhou it's significantly less busy, so come here to avoid the crowds.

Being restored. Go there to people watch and stroll through the grounds. If it's important to see the temple, you can have your picture photoshopped in front of it.

I visited this place as part of a tour through China. It had a lovely atmosphere and felt so secluded from the cityscape. It reminded me of the Buddhist Temples you might see in the movies, high up in the mountains. Definitely worth a visit I think!

The leaning pagoda is very cool to see, it's one of those things where you just can't make sense of how such a huge (and old!) structure is still standing today when it is leaning the way it is. Lots of tourists, but that's what it's there for :) Glad we went and saw this pagoda and surrounding park/gardens, it's... More

It was interesting seeing the architecture of this pagoda .. the place was very quiet maybe because we arrived there at sunset time. People love taking photos there the kind of leaning on the pagoda as if you were the one pushing it :-)

The Yunyan Pagoda, also known as the Leaning Pagoda, stands on top of Tiger hill and for me was the main attraction of Tiger Hill and why I went to Tiger Hill. I think the best time to go is mid to late afternoon, so you have enough time to climb the stairs and walk and get to the top.... More

If you are not the fittest person (like me) be aware of the steps to make it to the temple at the tip of the hill, Very pretty, well maintained gardens, the temple sits high on top of the Tiger Hill Park area - and on a clear day - you can see for miles. Lots of story, tradition and... More

This Buddhist temple (pagoda), situated at the pinnacle of the Tiger Hill Park is considered the most significant landmark of Suzhou, and is depicted in many of the official logos of Suzhou institutions. Known by many names; Tiger Hill, Huqui, Cloud Rock and Yunyansi, it has a more than a thousand-year old history with construction commencing in 959 AD and... More

When you visit Tiger Hill, the thing that stands out from the other is this leaning tower. Yes, it's a leaning tower aside from the Pisa Tower in Italy. Expect to encounter some stairs to reach the pagoda.
