I visited Giant Wheel Park of Suzhou with some friends in Summer 2017. I was a little bit underwhelming. The 'giant wheel' is quite impressive (it is the 7th tallest in the world), and offers great views over Suzhou and its construction sites. The unique coaster, Stingray, is rough but good fun, you have to ride it as it is the only one of its type in the world.
My biggest problem with this park is the operating schedule though. The park essentially has two opening times, a day time and an evening, half the main attractions aren't open in the day, it doesn't seem to make sense...as the evening entry is cheaper, I'm sure this is highlighted in Chinese, so just be aware of this when planning your day, we delayed by walking around the old town of Suzhou which was stunning.

We stopped at this park for a couple of hours on our roller coaster tour of China, and enjoyed our stay. The Giant Wheel is (as the name suggests) very big and offers great views of the surrounding area. The wheel can get busy so prepare to queue but the wait is worth it.
The other attraction of interest for us was an unusual roller coaster called Stingray, which is the only installation of this ride in the world. Note that the ride only takes 8 riders at a time so again there might be a long wait on busy days. Also note that those with long hair have to wear a hairnet (seriously) as your hair could potentially dangle into the lift-hill mechanism...having said that, the ride was unusual, surprisingly good and well worth doing. On our visit there was some kind of show going on, with singers and dancers, although we didn't really have time to stop and enjoy it.

The park itself has had better days, but don't let this stop you. The price of enter is relatively average for this type of experience and despite the main rides not running we still spent more then 2 hours on the ones that were. The Ferris Wheel ride was well worth it for the views, but don't go on a hot day as you are relying on a very small air conditioner and we sweated!

We went to see the Ferris wheel in Suzhou as we are living in Kunshan. It is the 7th largest in the world & worth a visit as you get a nice view across the lake, but the part itself is nothing to write about. We choose the 100 yuan option which gives you the 4D show, rubbish more like 3D. The roller coaster & go-carts were broke so only really had the disko ride & swings. The rides last for about 2 minutes only.
Overall i've been & would only go back if friends or family came to Kunshan.

The view is very good, the staff is very rude. But it still one of the must visit spots.
Better visit the wheel near close time, which make you wait much less time.

We live very close to this park so we decided to check it out one day in April. It wasn't super expensive, but it wasn't that exciting either. The roller coaster and go karts were broken so there was really only the swings, twisty lakeside thing and a theater plus the ferris wheel. The ferris wheel gave you a cool look of the lake, but there was almost no one there and yet they stuck us with another couple in the tiny capsule. It was a long 1/2 hour. I would go to suzhou amusement land instead of here.
