I visited Giant Wheel Park of Suzhou with some friends in Summer 2017. I was a little bit underwhelming. The 'giant wheel' is quite impressive (it is the 7th tallest in the world), and offers great views over Suzhou and its construction sites. The unique coaster, Stingray, is rough but good fun, you have to ride it as it is the only one of its type in the world. My biggest problem with this park is the operating schedule though. The park essentially has two opening times, a day time and an evening, half the main attractions aren't open in the day, it doesn't seem to make sense...as the evening entry is cheaper, I'm sure this is highlighted in Chinese, so just be aware of this when planning your day, we delayed by walking around the old town of Suzhou which was stunning.

The park itself has had better days, but don't let this stop you. The price of enter is relatively average for this type of experience and despite the main rides not running we still spent more then 2 hours on the ones that were. The Ferris Wheel ride was well worth it for the views, but don't go on a hot day as you are relying on a very small air conditioner and we sweated!

The view is very good, the staff is very rude. But it still one of the must visit spots. Better visit the wheel near close time, which make you wait much less time.
