We came at night to enjoy the breeze, bright lights and stroll around the promenade. Great place for a romantic walk at night. Food and dining nearby and great views of Jinji lake.

Found after 3 visits to Suzhou this gem. Lots of good restaurants and coffee shops. Beautiful buildings and art. You need to take the metro line 2 to Time Square. Then you can walk to Moon Harbour. The surrounding of Time square has a lot of nice shops too

Great restaurants with diverse menu including western food, great bars with views of the lake, nice walking paths for quiet walks, nice green areas to just sit read or have a picnic. Overall great place to kill time and there is something for everyone - something modern and something traditional. Many newly wed couples use this place for photoshoots so don't be surprised to see 10-20 couples at one time taking pics. Where to go and eat - follow the crowd!

A Busy place on Sunday afternoon. Many Restaurants, always Couples taking Wedding Photos, always many tourists around. Nice to sit next to the Water and have a drink or a meal.

I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel and rented a bicycle and when all over Moon Harbour. The only challenge is that you can live the bicycle to enter the malls that are all over the area. You notice the influence of Singapore in the way they are developing this area... Many restaurants and save to be around.. Super nice also for walking around the lake.

It is quite a nice area. It is not far form Times Square so you can walk around to this area from there in 5 or 10 minutes. The view is good and you have lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops to choose from.

Very beautiful promenade, perfect for walking and then choosing one of the many restaurants in the area to have a nice dinner. The views are beautiful and you can see the more modern side of the city.

The visit to the Moon harbour is worth it in the evening, to avoid the heat. Though given a choice, I would still prefer visiting the ancient historic village as opposed to this modern day development. That, said, we just wanted to check the box, though the harbour area looks quite nice adjoining the huge waterbody.
