I am basing my review based on my one time visit.

The street located slightly off Quanqian street. On the street you can find aquarium, florist, bird store, restaurants, supermarket, etc. I didn't enter any of the shops as none of the them really caught my eyes plus during the time of my visit (around 4pm), the street looks dark and gloomy. As I have mentioned, there are surprises like a sudden modern cafe.

Do take care while walking on the street as there are the usual "riding on the pavement" motorcyclists and occasional reckless drivers.

A very local feel, where all the wares are displayed on the ground. Coming from an orderly country, this kind of display somehow adds to the ambience and has a very vibrant feel.

In addition to birds and flowers, we also see tortoises, fishes, and some home decor.

This interesting part of Suzhou has plenty to see, and you can browse for a few hours, attempting to chat to locals (very few speak English), and haggling for local wares.

I got a "genuine" jade bracelet, which the lady showed me fits on your arm with the help of a plastic bag, for a very reasonable price lol. I also bought a cute chicken tea pot.

The flowers there are gorgeous. I wasn't impressed with the number of animals in very small cages for sale, but it is a completely different culture from my country.

Good place to have a look around during your visit to Suzhou.

I was sadly disappointed when I went there as I was expecting more birds. There was only one shop that had any and it all the same species!
