Polluted and Smelly

Like Taihu.......This lake is also polluted. Inaccessible and not worth the trouble in getting there.

Small park along the lakeside

As this is not a major tourist site, it is very quiet. There is a small park along the lake in the nearby Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) area. One prominent building is a church, with a big cross at the lakeside. The lakeside view is calm and refreshing. I saw a few couple having their wedding shots here. You are not likely to visit here unless you are in SIP vicinity.

Quiet good!

A quiet, not so Chinese, place to soothe your soul and body! It was near my university, Suda, so I visited almost on a daily basis. The only lake garden in Suzhou which is never crowded. Or at least less! Not noisy, no vendors selling and shouting... A good place to meditate too! And just besides is a cathedral church with actual statue of Jesus. You can see that in pictures. And you can also get an English bible there, if u want
