If you love writing, this is a good place to hang out and buy your post cards and notebooks/journals which has very creative designs.

Concept of the postcards and coffee/milk teas are novel. At least that's the first time I came across such an idea. Interior designing creates a nice ambience in a nice cool chinese night.

Lovely cafe in the heart of the old town. We particularly liked sending postcards to the future. However it is quite expensive.

I think this is The best idea ever, my children loved to write a postcard to themselves when they will be teenagers.
You can choose among tons of beautiful postcard, and for max.100 yuan they can ship it ten years later!

We were here by Sept 2014. We went Shantang branch. We ordered the high tea set and enjoyed the peaceful moment. You can reading books, writing the postcard for yourself or friends or family member and mail in the future. This book shop mostly sell chinese books. The interior design is wonderful. We love to come here! Hope to visit other branch when we go China next time.

This is already such a cute house in itself and you can buy vintage, printed and original post cards there. I bought lots of post cards to send to friends and family while my friend bought them to frame for his apartment. They have a unique selection of gifts and lovely little things if you are into arts and crafts. Most of the items they sell are Japanese-style. There is a coffee shop on the top, but we didn't try it as we were in a rush to catch our train.

As someone who moved to the U.S. when I was young, Suzhou is my mother's hometown. Everytime I visit, I always make sure to make a stop here, and pick up various gifts for friends back home. This super artsy coffeeshop offers numerous trinkets and notebooks, among cool stuff like wax seals and decor and about a few hundred postcards to choose from. The main attraction is the fact that you are encouraged to write a letter and give the employees to mail for you! Super cute place, there are on occasion a few adorable cats lounging around.
