It’s a excellent & beautiful trail to jog around this lake. The total distant is about 17.7km. It may seemed very far, but it’s definitely worth it.

This is where the pub street is located at the south end Li Gong Di area. Up north side, the nicer malls and restaurants are located there.

It depends on the weather too. After rain the air is cleaner and clearer. If you are on holiday then I wouldn't worry. To get away from the smog head for less densely populated ares.

laser and water show at Jinji Lake (0 Replies)
Last year, the fountain and laser show on Friday and Saturday at the Jinji Lake did not work. The locals explained to us that the reason is under construction on the lake. Does a fountain opened now or scheduled to open at the beginning of May 2016?

Things to do for free in Suzhou (4 Replies)
My wife and 1y/o will be visiting from 3rd to 4th of May. We've seen the gardens and other main touristy stuff from a few years ago so we're not really interested in doing them again. So we're thinking of just wandering around the city, do some window shopping, people watch, take in the views etc. The plan so far is: Day 1: Wander the shopping streets (Guan Qian), and then stroll around Jinji Lake. Day 2: Day trip to Tongli Anyone have any other suggestions for interesting things to...More

What is the schedule of the laser and water show at Jinji lake Suzhou ? We are going to Suzhou for the first time in the next couple of weeks. We are likely to stay there for one night and hopefully can get to the show.
