Huge and eye-opening

This is a huge park, much larger than what I have expected. It is more like a small suburban district. However it was really good, as there are tens of pavilions and gardens depicting the life/ nature in the various provinces of China. I spent a day there but could not finish walking around. Apart from open areas, it has a large indoor exhibition centre. Hope to see it again.

That very far huge garden at the periphery of the city looks nice to visit with 60RMB ticket price , but pick up service with very few shuttles and quite far stops with very little working service centers , my experience is never go in sunny day , I had very bad day there

Worth a visit

Even though it was raining when we visited here, it was made easier with an open people carrier to drive around this huge site. So well set out and full of colour with plants trees and buildings. Too big to cover in a day so we selected the places we wanted to see. Very well maintained and beautiful.

Wow--prepare to be surprised.

This site is quite large and you will need most of a day to see everything. Beautiful pagodas, half-moon bridges reflected in ponds, outstanding gardens, even interesting sidewalks made from shards of pottery make this a photographer's paradise. I took imagination to put this together. The food court specializes in dishes from various regions, but is crowded with limited seating. Buildings with handicrafts and everyday items from historical periods are well-organized. One shop specializes in art using butterfly wings--beautiful! There is a small trolley that will let you hop on/hop off, but pick up sites are very limited. This is definitely not a rainy-day activity. Facilities are quite clean and readily available. This is probably one of the best places I have visited in my 2 visits to Wuhan. The urban renewal project that made this site happen is incredible.
