Amazing experience

A well-maintained place with many polar animals. Don't miss the animal shows. The best one is the dolphin and beluga whale show in the main theatre. There are also sea lion show, walrus show etc. The ticket is comparatively expensive. For an adult its 170RMB and for a child 130RMB. This package includes all the animals, shows and play area except the area called 'deep storm'. Avoid it at all costs. The ticket to that area can be purchased for 35RMB with the main package or 50RMB at the gate of that area. This area only contains some places to take photos, nothing else.

A good educational day out for kids

Sometimes in China these places can disappoint (even shock) But I was pleasantly surprised at the (good) conditions most of the animals were kept in. There were plenty of things to look at and the viewing was great (above water, below water, glass separated). Our kids loved the penguins best, were awed by the large sea lions, and fascinated with the florescent jellyfish.

Some of the "rides" are extra money - and basically not on theme, and not worth it.

Whilst Ocean Park in HK is better. If you are in Wuhan with kids this is worth while.

Sad
Feb 2016 • Family
Pretty sad place, animals look poorly kept and in bad condition. Walked out of the animal show after less than a minute, due to the cruelty these animals were surely subjected to to perform these tricks. Locals loved it. Music unbearably loud.

General number of animals there surprisingly little, which actually makes me happy based on above experience. Some penguins, and a few walrus, dolphins and whales is about it.

Meal options poor. Ticket entry not cheap. Most of the area is taken up by merchandise shops, but from the experience, to purchase an item for memory was the last thing on my mind.
