If you go there early, you might see elderly people doing their exercises. The Mao Monument is a waste of time.

I am a native of Wuhan, and I often take some foreign guests to visit Wuhan. For me, Yangtze River Ferr is:As an ancient means of transportation across the Yangtze River, ferry still retains its special charm. Taking a ferry across the Yangtze River, the wind stroke the face, and the scenery on both sides is like a moving picture, which is a wonderful sensory experience. You will also meet many Wuhan residents on this journey, such as romantic lovers, college students, and small vendors busy with their livelihood. Everything will be your unique memory .

The beach park is not all that interesting, but the lights visible here at night are the best I've ever seen. Much better than Shanghai. Come at night and you will leave with a smile (and a ton of photos).

We walked along the lakes edge at night to enjoy the light show across the water. It is simply stunning and covers a huge area. There were people dancing under the stars and we stopped and joined in. Then there were the well lite fun roller cars along the path. There were people using the exercise equipment and others boxing.

Great for all family members or for a solo hike and exploration. Bring water and make sure to wear comfortable clothing. There are all types of sights to see along the river. The city really lights it's building up at night giving a spectacular show to all. Night Club action is fast and exciting - don't miss it.
