Car ride nearly 1 hour from Wuhan city. Beautiful mountain and lake view. Those who like 'Green' and outdoor exercise definitely will love it. Places with mountains staircase climbing, a mini glass bridge and few beautiful lakes. Lunch in local family. However, not recommended for...More

If you go there, don't forget to try the slide when you come down. It costed 30 RMB and it was great! Also, they will take your picture when you are about to arrive to the end. Pose for it)))

Finding tickets to this place from Wuhan when you're a foreigner is not easy. So I'm writing this review for future visitors who wish to hike in the area. Mulan is for everyone. It's an easy climb, but remember to bring sunscreen, an UV blocking...More

The town of Mulan is about 60kms away from Wuhan. We booked a taxi to take us there in the morning and back in the afternoon: this is important as you may not find transportation back to Wuhan easily at the end of the day...More

I loved everything about this place. Reaching the lake brings together a series of fun things: mountain climbing (involves a lot of stairs), waterfalls, boat ride, grass sliding, amazing sceneries. Highly recommended for a day's trip nearby Wuhan.

We took the mountain route to the Mulan lake, it is a fairly steep walk up lots of steps. If it's summer you'll be very hot, it is humid too, watch out for mossies. Grant scenery, waterfals and views over the valley. At the top...More
