Although relatively small and certainly showing its age, this is still a truly beautiful spot close to the larger Confuciuan Temple. There are several temples to see in this compact area and although photography inside is prohibited, nobody seemed to mind when I took a couple of shots. Seemed to be a lot of locals just hanging and chatting, which... More

This is an ancient Confucian temple, though not widely used as a religious sanctuary compare to the Buddhist temple to the north of town. One of the tablets dates back to the Ming dynasty. This was in the middle of the week in August. A few people taking photos. What I enjoyed most about the temple was the quiet. It's... More

It's a;ways crowded there. During Spring Festival there will be many artists selling traditional paintings, sugar animals, etc. There is a lot of fun.

..anonymous temple in the middle of the city. It looks exactly like all other temples inside China, but if you are in zhengzhou and want to see a building different from the ones coming up..the temple will look to you special and mystical. Come before 5 pm! It is closed to Zhenzhou city ancient wall: a visi to both will... More

Some time ago a business trip to Zhengzhou, to see the Temple, just in time for local opera performances, very good. By the way, near the Temple is also very good, beautiful environment, great culture. It is downtown in the quiet of the place.
