Perfect beach. Good wind. David the owner is very helpfull and welcoming. Good teaching lessons. Western food and drinks: Salad, sandwiches, pancake and waffle. Rental gear can be better but not expensive. Nice shop. Big trampoline for kids. The Tao ji hotel that host the school is clean, the view amazing, breakfast is fine, swimming pool and garden perfect. Defenetly recommand the place for kiting!

Not necessary to have your equipment, you can borrow everything by hours , days or weeks at decent price. For beginners, you have lessons and teaching by European teacher. At least , you can enjoy Western food . Tips : call club to know which hotels is the best close to site .

We just spent an awesome week in Boao kiting with the school kitesurfing China. David, the host, is a great teacher and additionally takes care of everything; from transport,to bookings of Hotel (which is really valuable for non chinese speakers) and diverse activties on nowind days. The people we met there were great and from all around the world. We developed a great teamspirit and enjoyed various chinese dinners in the cities Restaurants that David selected for us. The spot in Boao from the school can be a bit tricky because of the choppy water. However, there is the possibility to go to a lagoon to learn kiting with flat water and easy conditions. When we were there we had wind on 4 out of 5 days and we flew mostly kites in the range between 12 and 19 squaremeters. The quality of the Core equipment one can rent is very good and David also provides sups or surfboards on no wind days. So if you are somewhere near Boao it is really worth to invest a day in trying to kitesurf or to solely watch the kiters do their tricks in the waves!

I took Kiteboarding lessons with Kitesurf China during my 1 week vacation on Hainan Island in Boao. I had a to of fun during my lessons and was impressed at how professional this school is run. they made sure that I was safe at all times and quickly was able to get up on a board and now I am hooked on this amazing sport. For sure I will continue Kiteboarding with them on my next visit to Boao. I highly recommend taking a course with them.
