The water park has many different rides and a great wave pool. Not all the rides were open in the morning but during the day everything that was finished was open. There are still a couple of rides which are under construction, but didn't miss anything. Strict height/weight rules apply to the kids, must be over 1,40 cm /40 kg to do most of the rides. Adult prize RMB 150 for entrance.…

The park is nice, but the restrictions in height and weight make it hopeless for families. Went with wife and two kids age 9 and 11. Most rides were for kids over 140 cm. there were many rides which you had to be 4 people in order to try, but there could not be too much difference in weight between the participants. Some great rides already, new, loads of promise, great weather - just need to organise themselves and get priorities right. The lifeguards are in jeans, the kids rides are limited to 1.4m which is useless for a family day out, and there are people spitting all over. Oh, and you can't go on a four person ride unless there are four of you - no initiative to organise the line or communicate properly. But the park is new and flashy and will be fantastic in years to come if it is run better. About half rides are open now but price is good so that's not a problem - it will come. Just really, really annoying that it is run poorly now.…

Sanya water park is very good. You should go there early because by noon there are many people and it is very hot. Make sure to bring a whole bunch of sunscreen, sandals and bathing suit. It opens at 10am and not many people are there so you don't have to wait in line. Right now it costs 100 RMB, which is expensive for the rides that are open. They have lockers to put your bags in. It will cost you 20RMB plus 30RMB deposit. The big wave pool is fun when the waves knock you down. My stomach was in my throat the whole time. There are many facilities still not open/ finished. The food is pretty expensive. You can enjoy spicy meatballs, hot dogs, ice cream,, and sushi. Overall, it was relaxing for the body and mind. You can spend the whole day there but make sure to get out of the sun.…
